Introduction
Gilbert needs to get down from the mountain to help his grandfather. The only way to get down from the mountain where they live is by using the elevator that Gilbert’s grandfather built. The only problem is, it doesn’t work.
Getting the elevator to work
Since the elevator is down on the ground and since the machinery that normally brings the elevator up doesn’t work when there’s no wind, Gilbert has to turn the elevator up by hand.
Pick up the underwear hanging on the old washing machine located on the back of the house.
Pick up the crank, attached to the very same washing machine, and use it with the crankcase to get the elevator up.
Fixing the crank
As you start winding the elevator up, the crank breaks.
Open the cupboard inside the house and pick up the toiletries, walk outside behind the house and pick up the resin located on the wall.
Pick up the tree sap located on the tree in the back.
Walk back inside and pick up the biscuite ingredients and put the grease (one of the toiletries), the resin, the tree sap and the biscuite ingredients in the mixer located on the table.
Turn the mixer on and you just got yourself some super-glue.
Use the broken crank with the super glue. Gilbert can now use the fixed crank to get the elevator up.
